FarmHub Payment & Settlement Policy

 

FarmHub ensures smooth, secure, and transparent financial transactions between customers, farmers, and sellers. This Payment & Settlement Policy outlines how payments are collected, processed, and settled on the FarmHub platform.

 

1. Scope of the Policy

 

This policy applies to:

  • Customers making payments for orders on FarmHub.

  • Sellers/Farmers receiving settlements for their sales.

  • FarmHub as the facilitating platform.

 

2. Accepted Payment Methods

 

Customers can make payments using:

  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)

  • Debit/Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, etc.)

  • Net Banking

  • Mobile Wallets

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) – where available

 

⚠️ COD may not be available for all products, especially fresh/perishable items, or in non-serviceable regions.

 

3. Payment Collection

  • All customer payments (including COD collections) are routed through FarmHub’s secure payment gateway.

  • FarmHub uses PCI-DSS compliant and encrypted systems for transaction safety.

  • Customers will receive a digital receipt/invoice after successful payment.

4. Settlement to Sellers/Farmers

  • Settlement Cycle: Payments are settled to sellers within 7–10 working days after successful delivery of the product.

  • Deductions: From the order value, the following charges may apply:

    • FarmHub commission/service fee.

    • Payment gateway charges.

    • Logistics/shipping charges (if borne by FarmHub).

    • Applicable taxes (TDS, GST).

  • Net Payout: The remaining amount (after deductions) is credited directly to the seller’s registered bank account.

  • Payment Reports: Sellers can access detailed payout reports via their FarmHub dashboard.

 

5. Refunds & Adjustments

  • Refunds to customers (for cancellations, returns, or disputes) will be deducted from the seller’s pending or future settlements.

  • In case of COD orders returned by the customer, no settlement will be made to the seller for that order.

  • If refunds are initiated after settlement, FarmHub may adjust the amount in the seller’s next payout.

 

6. Taxes & Compliance

  • Sellers are responsible for complying with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

  • FarmHub will provide necessary transaction reports for tax filing.

  • FarmHub may deduct and deposit TDS/TCS as required under Indian law.

 

7. Disputes in Settlement

  • Any discrepancy in settlement (short payment, delay, or mismatch) must be reported by the seller within 7 days of payout.

  • FarmHub will investigate and resolve disputes within 5–10 working days.

 

8. Responsibility & Liability

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring valid payment details while making payments.

  • Sellers must provide accurate bank account details for settlements.

  • FarmHub is not liable for delays caused by:

    • Bank holidays.

    • Technical failures in payment gateways.

    • Seller’s incorrect bank details.
