FarmHub Seller & Farmer Onboarding Policy

 

FarmHub is committed to connecting genuine farmers and sellers directly with customers. This Onboarding Policy outlines the process, eligibility, and requirements for sellers and farmers to list and sell products on FarmHub.

 

1. Scope of the Policy

 

This policy applies to all individuals, businesses, or organizations that wish to register as a seller or farmer on FarmHub.

 

2. Eligibility Criteria

 

To become a FarmHub seller/farmer, applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Have a valid bank account for settlements.

  • Provide accurate and verifiable personal/business identification.

  • Comply with all local, state, and central government regulations.

  • Agree to abide by FarmHub’s policies, including Product Listing, Pricing, and Quality standards.

 

3. Required Documentation

FarmHub requires the following documents for verification:

 

For Individual Farmers:

  • Government-issued ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)

  • Bank account details (cancelled cheque or passbook copy)

  • FSSAI license (for food products) if applicable

 

For Business Entities/Sellers:

  • GST Registration (if applicable)

  • PAN Card of business or authorized representative

  • Bank account details for settlements

  • Trade license or other business certificates (if applicable)

 

FarmHub may request additional documents during verification for quality and compliance purposes.

 

4. Onboarding Process

  1. Registration: Fill out the online seller/farmer registration form on FarmHub.

  2. Document Submission: Upload all required documents for verification.

  3. Verification: FarmHub reviews and verifies documents, bank details, and product eligibility.

  4. Approval: Upon successful verification, the seller/farmer account is activated.

  5. Product Listing: Sellers can now list products on FarmHub following the Product Listing Policy.

 

5. Product Approval & Quality Checks

  • Each product listed must meet FarmHub quality standards and comply with applicable laws.

  • FarmHub may conduct random audits, product inspections, or request product samples.

  • Products not meeting standards will be rejected or delisted.

 

6. Responsibilities of Sellers/Farmers

​

  • Provide genuine and high-quality products.

  • Maintain accurate product information, pricing, and stock levels.

  • Ensure timely fulfillment of orders.

  • Comply with FarmHub’s Payment, Settlement, Return & Refund, and all other policies.

  • Respond to customer queries and grievances promptly.


7. Non-Compliance & Termination

​

FarmHub may suspend or terminate seller/farmer accounts in cases of:

  • Fraudulent or illegal activity.

  • Repeated product quality violations.

  • Non-fulfillment of orders or repeated cancellations.

  • Misrepresentation of products or details.

  • Breach of FarmHub policies.

 

Suspended or terminated sellers/farmers may be barred from future registration.

 

8. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By registering as a seller/farmer, applicants agree to:

  • Comply with all FarmHub policies and guidelines.

  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance of products and business practices.

  • Accept that FarmHub reserves the right to amend policies and enforce them as required.
